Can I use edX certificate in my resume?
Yes ! If you have a ‘Honor-Code’ certificate, you can put it in your resume. Previously, edX used to give honor-code certificates for those who have audited the course and have obtained a passing grade. Now, edX is no more providing any certificates to those who haven’t paid for the course.
How do I get my certificate after completing my course edX?
To receive a certificate you will need a passing total score before the course end date. The minimum passing score needed and your total score is shown on the progress tab within the course.
How long does it take to get edX certificate?
The verification you submit needs to be approved, which generally takes 2-3 business days. You can check the status of your verification on your dashboard. Once you’ve verified your identity, your verification status applies to all courses in which you’ve paid the verification fee.4 days ago
Does edX give certificates for free?
edX courses do not award free certificates. Certificates are awarded only to passing students registered in the paid certificate track. The enrollment fee for this track varies by course. Most courses can be viewed in the audit track entirely free, but again will not award a certificate.
Do certificates from edX mean anything?
edX certification is just proof that you have completed a course successfully & you have a solid understanding of the course material. It won’t guarantee you a job if that’s what you’re looking for because online course certificates are not equivalent to a college/university degree.
Do employers recognize edX certificates?
Employers don’t care about those. I’ve taken edX classes, and I just put the skill on my resume. They don’t really care unless it’s awarded by a university or a professional organisation.
Can I retake an edX course?
Yes! You may re-take a future session of an edX course. It is not possible to start fresh in a course session you have already begun. If you had paid for the verified certificate track in your previous session and you wish to try again for the certificate, you will need to pay a new verified enrollment fee.
Can I complete edX course before time?
Work at your own pace until the end date On the mobile app, you can check the Dates tab. You can submit graded assignments* or exams at any time before the end date to earn points towards your final score.
How do I pass edX courses?

How do edX exams work?
Proctored exams are timed exams that you take while proctoring software monitors your computer’s desktop, webcam video and audio. Before you take the exam, you must verify your identity by taking a webcam photo of your face, your photo ID, and use a webcam to scan the desk and the room where you will take the exam.
